About Joanne Read

Joanne Read

Chartered Financial Planner

Based in Central London, I provide wealth management advice to clients both within the City and the south east of England.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, I spent several years working for HMRC. As a consequence I have built a strong foundation in tax and financial planning using tax advantaged products, whether these be personal or corporate.

After leaving HMRC, I embarked on a career in financial services, I have provided advice on mortgages and corporate financial planning and more recently have specialised in Retirement Planning, Investment Planning and Estate Planning for the over 50’s.I have achieved the coveted Chartered Financial Planner Status and I hold specialist qualifications in Pension Transfers and Equity Release*, as well as The Society of Estate Practitioners Certificate for Financial Advisers in Estate and Trust** Planning.

I aspire to give clients peace of mind, understanding and clarity around their money and retirement. I strongly believe we can all become happy, and wealthy!

I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development. This, along with the pride and passion I have for financial services means I can offer a qualified, experienced and trusted service with integrity at the core of my advice.

Outside of my business, I am a keen hockey player.

Charity is also important to me and I regularly participate in overseas charity cycle rides to raise money for disadvantaged children. My most recent challenge took 6 days cycling 400miles through Vietnam and Cambodia.
